Noxubee Hill Road is a gravel road that is gated except during hunting season. From its intersection with Long Bridge Trail and Log Jump Trail, this road gradually descends for over a mile into flat bottomland. After crossing two creeks, the road rapidly ascends up Noxubee Hill. After reaching the top, the road runs along the top of a narrow ridge through hardwood forest again for over a mile all the way to Sheep Ranch Trail, Sheep Ranch Road a nd the Noxubee Hill Cemetery, the south trailhead.
