Laced by rivers, edged by lakes and framed by the Great Smoky Mountains, Knoxville is part urban hub complete with cultural attractions and part portal for adventure on nearby peaks.
This trail ends at the junction of Big Frog Trail and Big Creek Trail. Hikers will enjoy several mountain views and possibly glimpses of wildlife. The final 1.7 miles of the trail are in the Big Frog Wilderness.
Steepness: Much of the grail has grades of 20% or steeper. Length: Trails are usually more than 8 miles, but short, steep trails may be included. Surface: Trail is most likely rocky, with uneven footing. May include many stream crossings.
